Stories about this painting are to come. I’ve spent countless hours sitting with this one, yet when I went looking for photos, I was surprised how few there were. It’s deeply connected to both past and current works—through resurfaced images, uncovered relics, and echoes across the canvas.
The green race car was a surprise but there is a car crash theme throughout, so it fits. There are connections to New Jersey and other parts of the story within.
